Champagne Region

Everyone is familiar with the name Champagne. We know it as our favorite Sparkling wine. Champagne also refers to a region that is renowned for producing the best wines in France. It is located around 150 kilometers from Paris.

Champagne Sparkling Wine

Because of its wine (which we refer to as Champagne) that most people want to savor, it helped in the region’s economic development and the country. It’s a popular destination for wine lovers. If you plan for a visit to this region, we will help you plan the trip and overcome all the challenges associated with planning a trip.

Visit Reims

Reims is the capital city, where you will find many places to taste Champagne. Besides wine, there are tourist attractions such as the Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Reims, a 13th-century cathedral. Also, Reims has been awarded the city of arts and history because of possessing many cultural sites. Other places to visit are the Musee Saint-Remi, Musee des Beaux-Arts, and Palis du Tau.

Visit Troyes

Troyes is a historic city characterized by having half-timbered houses. Here you will find the Cathedrale Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul, which has its origin in 1208. Or you can head over to Musee Saint-Loup, which displays some excellent European paintings dating from the 14th century. For a modern collection of arts, head over to Musees d’Art Moderne, where you will find the works of Picasso, Vuillard, Seurat, and among the rest.

Visit Sedan

Sedan is renowned for Ville d’Art et d’Histoire, the largest fortified medieval castle in Europe. The fort was built in the 14th century and featured towers, ramparts, and bastions. It’s open throughout the year, and around there are a museum, boutiques, restaurants, and cafés.

Best time to go

Generally, we do not recommend going in September due to the harvest season. At this time, most of the vineyards are too busy and are less likely to welcome any visitor.

The best times to visit would be in October and November when the harvest period is over. The vineyards still have some grapes, and at the same time, the colors are changing. The summer months are always a good time to visit.
